Pasta Roni

February 23rd, 2008

Pasta Roni is probably one of my favorite “college” foods. It’s 99 cents, takes less than 10 minutes to make, fills you up, and tastes really good.

There are a ton of different kinds, including a whole “natural” spinoff (typically about 50 cents more). I recommend it whole-heartedly. I will be posting reviews of different types of Pasta Roni in the near future.

Homemade microwave taquitos

February 22nd, 2008

This is probably one of the easiest Mexican foods in the world to make.

Here’s what you need:

  1. Four small corn tortillas
  2. Two paper towels
  3. Paper plate
  4. Shredded cheese
  5. Salsa
  6. Microwave

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Get the 4 corn tortillas, stack them together and put them in between the two paper towels in the microwave
  2. Heat them for approximately 45 seconds
  3. Take them out, put cheese in the middle of each hot tortilla and roll them up like a straw. Put all four of them rolled up on the paper plate, and heat them up again for 45 more seconds to melt the cheese.
  4. Take them out, dip in salsa.
  5. Eat.

Finally. This blog just came out of the oven, steamin’ hot. Welcome.

This blog will be all about cooking for all of you out there who are too lazy to cook a normal meal.

Once a week, we’ll have an original recipe made especially for this blog. I know your mouth is watering, but you’re going to have to wait, this is just the first post.
